Learn to model characters, scenes, objects for game play. 3D Game Design enthusiasts will learn how professionals use a studio to make popular games. Learn how scripting adds functionality to a game to make it more fun.

Develop your inner investor, get an understanding of budgeting and plan for your life goals. Learn how to create wealth and open your first brokerage account. Get real world practice in stock trading in a simulator.
We partner with districts and independent schools to provide, unique, fun, and educational programming in coding and robotics. These are some of the places where we currently run programs.

Happy Code Club brings Coding for AI applications alive with this exciting class that features fun projects that all kids will enjoy. AI use is at an all time high and in this class kids go behind the scenes to understand how a computer can be trained to create some of the apps we use today and to solve problems and find solutions to societal, business and of course for fun and creativity.
In “Code Your Own Clown Face,” students will use Scratch to create a clown face that reacts using machine learning techniques, providing a fun introduction to AI concepts such as training a computer to learn from a face recognition model.
In The “Smart Home” project students program virtual home devices such as lights in the home and HVAC to respond to basic everyday human language. The goal of this project is for students to create a dataset model to train a computer to interpret basic human language which is often charged with emotions and nuances. This project showcases practical applications of AI in everyday life such as digital assistants and confidence thresholds.
The “Code the Shy Panda Bear,” students will program a panda bear that dances but stops if it senses someone “peeking” through a virtual window—an exercise that combines using models in image classification and supervised learning.
These projects represent just a few examples of the exciting AI activities your students will enjoy during our after school program. Through hands-on learning and exploration, students will develop essential skills in programming, problem-solving, and AI concepts.

Hello everyone! My name is Brittany, and I am a Co-founder and instructor for Happy Code Club. In this class, we are going to learn the basics of Scratch to start your coding journey! We will break down coding concepts in a way that is easier to understand through a series of fun, creative, and engaging projects that are all created the way you want! It is your creative masterpiece. Students will have access to a recording for each class in case they want to rewatch the class or weren’t able to attend on a specific day. We will all learn coding together!

This winter join students from other schools in a zoom class that you can take from your school or home.
This after school club is free for public schools classrooms Grades 3-5 and it will be run for 6-8 weeks in Winter and Spring of 2021 Taught by Happy Code Club teachers with experience in various subjects including Scratch, Python, codehs.com, code.org, Robotics and more.
